This is the perfect time of year for salads and fresh ingredients.  We’ve been attempting to incorporate more veggies into our diets and you can’t go wrong with a delicious salad.  Add some of your favorite protein and you’ll stay full for hours.  If you’re searching for some inspiration, check out these amazing summer salad recipes you’ve got to try!

This is a nutrition powerhouse!  Jamie from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom brings us a low carb spinach salad with chicken that’s packed full of spinach, lean protein, and healthy fats.  No dressing needed for this one, but she’s even got a healthy option if you want it.

Another BBQ chicken salad but a completely different variation.  This delicious one combines chicken and a simple 2 ingredient dressing!  Tastes of LizzyT came up with this salad recipe to make at home inspired by one of her favorite meals out.

Caesar salad is pretty much my favorite salad and I can’t wait to try this version from Pretty Providence.  I love the idea of adding the seasoning to give the chicken a little kick!

Tacos are a favorite in my house and this delicious salad from Cherished Bliss will make me feel a little better about eating tacos every week!

Honey Lime Fruit Salad

Now this one might not make it as a main course, but this fruit salad from Delicious Meets Healthy was too amazing not to include. It’s on my list for sure because I love fruit and this would be a perfect side to make for a cookout or even just to use as your healthy snacks throughout the day.  I mean – just look at these gorgeous ingredients below!

It doesn’t get much prettier than this one from Two Peas & Their Pod.  Tomatoes of all colors, cukes, and avocado for some good healthy fat.  Put this alongside some grilled chicken or fish or lean steak and you’ve got a healthy and delicious meal that’ll keep you full for hours.

Creamy Cilantro Quinoa Salad

Not a typical “salad” that we think of, but I love the versatility of this one from Becky’s Best Bites.  You can pretty much add whatever veggies you love or have on hand and turn it into creamy goodness that will make a perfect side salad dish.  
So many options for fresh and healthy eating this summer! I’m adding each of these to my weekly meal plans!
