Cheap Halloween Decorations – How to Scare for Cheap!

Cheap Halloween decorations are right up my alley.  I love Halloween as much as my kids do, but I’m cheap (or should I say frugal to make it sound better?).  So every year I hit up the Dollar Tree and the Target Dollar Spot for some things to add some more spooky to my house.  I’ll show you how I use cheap Halloween decorations to scare for cheap!

Dollar Tree Halloween Wreath and Porch

I’m such a lazy decorator that I pretty much use the same grapevine wreath on my front door for every season.  I just change out the decor using cheap supplies and call it good.  I finished our Halloween decorations this year and my fall wreath and porch decor didn’t fit in.  So I hit up one of my favorite decor spots and made a super easy and crazy cheap Dollar Tree Halloween Wreath and porch decorations.

Personalized Stockings – Make Your Own DIY Stocking Tags

I mentioned to my kids that I was considering getting new stockings this year and let’s just say you would think I suggested we change the date of Christmas!  Who knew it was such a big deal?  If we had gorgeous handmade stockings that were super sentimental, I might understand, but nope.  Target specials from several years ago.  Needless to say, the Target specials are still gracing my mantel as we speak.  So fine.  Not to be outdone, I decided to enlist the help of my super talented cousin to make some stockings for me and hang them in their own special part of the house!  And to make them personalized stockings – they needed initials so I added some cute little DIY stocking tags in no time!

Farmhouse and Vintage Inspired Christmas Decor

It’s time to decorate for Christmas!  Some years, I wish I could just start over with all my decor.  And then I quickly remember three things.  A.  Not happening because I can’t afford it.  B.  That’s just silly because where would I put all of it.   And C.  I’m a sentimental person and there’s no way I could go without putting up that bottle cap tree I made in 5th grade.  (Thanks Mom for going to the gas station late one night and buying me about 15 Nehi Peach drinks just so I could use the tops!).
